  • How ya’ll doin on this Monday? Remember, it’s good to check in with yourself emotionally from time to time throughout the day. And it’s OKAY to feel all the feelings, no matter what you might be feeling during this time...things are more uncertain than ever. Try to observe without judgement 🙏🏼. I am choosing to remain in this present moment as often as possible (believe me, I too slip up every now and then, and my emotions get the best of me (hey, I’m only human😉)), and I hope by sharing some dessert design inspiration with ya’ll, I can brighten your day even just for a moment. Hang in there, my sweets 😘💗✨

  • I’ll be honest, I’ve been limiting my intake of media during the last few weeks and unfortunately, that means I haven’t been as present on my own Instagram accounts as well. I have been intentionally setting boundaries around what I consume (I would advise it, my friends, it’s a beautiful practice for keeping your sanity intact during trying times), however, after much debate, I decided I wanted to pop on here to address my thoughts on the current situation at hand because I believe deeply in times like these, we have an opportunity to unite and support one another. We are not in this alone, even if we think we are. As events are getting cancelled left and right and communities shut down, I’m sure many of you, including my beloved brides and grooms, are growing worrisome with each passing day. While we can’t predict nor control the future, we can control how we respond to crisis. And I’m choosing to respond with loving awareness and deep empathy because love neutralizes fear. Empathy for those who are worried about their health and the health of loved ones, empathy for those who are working tirelessly to heal our neighbors and prevent a catastrophic outbreak, empathy for many of my friends who are small business owners and are greatly impacted by the closings this week, empathy for all of us who worry about the upcoming weeks and what’s in store for us all. But I am reminded all too often that nothing is permanent, even the good times. And that we must not fear the unknown because the Universe has always had and will always have our backs. So please, take this time to express your gratitude for all the blessings in your life and have faith it’ll all work out as it should. For me, this is a lesson to never take for granted the gifts we’ve been given, especially those from Mother Earth herself. I hope you all can take some time to rest or meditate or read a good book, perhaps indulge in a bit of self-care or accomplish something at home you’ve been putting off for any number of reasons. We’re all in this together because we are all one, and together, through our support of one another, we will grow and we will heal 💗✨
  • Wishing you, my sweets, so much love today and everyday 💗. I have learned over this past year especially that in order for us to truly love one another, we must first discover what it means to love ourselves. In accepting ourselves for exactly who we are, listening to our own intuition, speaking and living in our truth without shame, forgiving ourselves, expressing gratitude for all that we have daily, always keeping an open mind, setting and respecting our own boundaries and having faith the Universe has got our backs, we discover exactly what it means to love the person we are inside. And in doing so, we fill our cups enough to be able to help others fill theirs. Love is always the answer, my friends ✌🏼💗✨
